Seaghan (pronounced Shawn) joined 11 South Square as a tenant in December 2022 following the successful completion of pupillage.

Seaghan’s academic background is in Chemistry, which he studied as an undergraduate at the University of Manchester. Following his undergraduate studies Seaghan attended BPP where he completed the Graduate Diploma in Law, followed by the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC).

Following completion of the BPTC Seaghan worked for LPC Law as a County Court Advocate for six months. This work involved accepting instructions from clients as a freelance advocate in a wide range of civil matters in the County Court.

For the 18 months prior to commencing pupillage Seaghan worked at Travers Smith LLP as a paralegal in the dispute resolution department. Whilst there he spent the majority of his time working on a large-scale European Competition Law case concerning Truck Cartels. Seaghan’s pupil supervisors were: David Ivison, Tom Alkin, Chris Aikens and Chris Hall.
