Bailey v Graham (AKA Levi Roots) [2012] EWCA Civ 1469
Mark Vanhegan QC and Chris Aikens successfully represented chef and entrepreneur Levi Roots in a claim brought against him and his companies for breach of contract and misuse of confidential information relating to the exploitation of Reggae Reggae sauce. The case lasted 9 days in the High Court, after which the claim was dismissed and an order for indemnity costs awarded in Levi Roots’ favour. The Appeal was heard in October 2012 and the judgment dismissing the appeal was handed down in November 2012.
